MAK Jobs is recruiting a skilled Press Brake Operator on behalf of our client.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical experience in working with sheet metal. This role involves operating press brake machinery to fabricate components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Location: Daventry

Salary:

• £13.56 per hour

• Overtime : £16.27 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:00

Responsibilities:

- Operate press brake machinery

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and adherence to safety standards.

- Identify and resolve issues, enhancing production processes.

- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following health and safety regulations.

- Perform additional responsibilities as directed by your Line Manager to meet business needs.

About you:

- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator.

- Proven experience using CNC machines

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

- Proficient in basic mathematics for measuring and calculating fabrication tasks.
