MAK Jobs is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client.

Location: Stafford 

Salary:  £16 per hour / Overtime:  £18 per hour 

Shift: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:00

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be assisting the Operations Manager and responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse, focusing on the efficient handling of inventory, staff , and logistics. Your role will be vital in creating a safe and productive work environment, streamlining processes, and achieving company goals.

Duties: 

  • Managing and overseeing the daily warehouse operations.

  • Ensure daily performance and quality KPI's are achieved

  • Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff.

  • Scheduling daily workload and allocation of staff across the site 

  • Deliver daily team briefs.

  • Achieving and continuously improving on KPI’s.

  • Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and company policies.

  • Deal with any communication that is needed to both internal and external customers.

  • Manual handling.

  • General warehouse and housekeeping duties .


Requirements:

  • Strong supervisory experience within warehousing.

  • Proficiency in warehouse procedures and policies.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide feedback.

  • Valid Forklift licences 

  • Must have a hands-on approach and be willing to work with the team.
